Coming Out Day
Each fall, LGBT-Meds holds a Coming Out Day celebration in the Dean's Courtyard at the medical school. With the generous support of Zera Murphy, the director of student life, LGBT-Meds presents snacks and drinks while students can socialize. LGBT-meds also provides information on queer health issues and support information about coming out.
LGBT-Meds promoted the 2005 event by taking donations for Project Outlet a queer youth support group in Mountain View, CA.
